I picketed this morning in front of the Connecticut Democratic Party headquarters, calling on candidates and officeholders to support public funding for cultivated-meat research.
It was cool to hear someone explaining the technology to someone else in Spanish. Less cool was when a pedestrian started swearing and screaming at me about being at the top of the food chain after I suggested cultivated meat offered animal-welfare benefits!
