Not the best note to leave on

I picketed outside the Hartford headquarters of the Connecticut Democratic Party today, urging candidates and officeholders to support public funding for cultivated-meat research. The new protein offers a number of animal welfare, public health and environmental benefits.

Most of my conversations on the street went well. One woman, however, started ranting about how I was trying to poison people to anyone who would listen. Having heard her, a man came over and said there was ‘a nice place in hell’ waiting for me. So that wasn’t great!
