Email lists and the Dial of Destiny
I finished updating my newspaper email lists! I’ll post them soon, but first I wanted to reward myself with (Cell) Culture Talk. Here’s what I’ve been watching and listening to lately.
Movie — Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. That was a blast, and a touching send-off to Harrison Ford, who said he won’t return to the series. I haven’t seen all the films in a while, but, on first viewing, I might put this one in the middle of the pack. It’s worse than Last Crusade and Raiders, but better than Crystal Skull and Temple of Doom. Then again, as I’ve written here, I have a soft spot for the 2008 outing.
Audiobook — Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I haven’t made it too far in the story. I might as well take my time, since the library application says Order of the Phoenix won’t be available for 20 weeks. Perhaps I can finagle another free Audible credit somehow. Of course, I could always read a physical copy, but I’ve enjoyed listening to the adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione while doing stuff around the house.
