CT should fund cultivated-meat research at its universities

I picketed in front of the Connecticut state capitol today, urging the governor and general assembly to fund cultivated-meat research at universities, like Massachusetts has done. It’s the right thing to do for animals, the environment and public health.

The capitol was pretty busy, as I gather the general assembly was in session. There was a lot of people coming and going, including a significant number of Service Employee International Union members in matching purple shirts.
