CT should fund cultivated-meat research
I picketed the governor’s office and Connecticut general assembly today, urging the state’s leaders to support public funding for cultivated-meat research. It’s the right thing to do for animals, the environment and public health.
I’m aware the legislature is part time and currently not in session. Still, the governor’s office is there. Also, and perhaps I’m wrong, but I’d be a little surprised if the legislature didn’t have any full-time staff and the legislators didn’t check into their offices occasionally.
