My next letter will highlight news that Japan is running out of space to bury chickens culled from avian flu, before making the case for increased federal funding for cultivated-meat research. If you’d like to write your own letters, give this a read:
Let’s do (Cell) Culture Talk. Here are some of the things I’ve been reading and watching lately.
Book — To Love Is to Know Me by Eknath Easwaran. This is the third title in a three-volume commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. I’m about a quarter of the way through. After I finish, I’ll probably take a break from spiritual reading.
Sports — Knicks lose to Pacers, 141-136. It was the last game of the regular season. Both teams were resting a bunch of players. Julius Randle was out of his walking boot. Hopefully, he’s healthy for the playoffs.
